The trilogy of recordings by pianist Luke Welch is now available as one collection.  These albums include ‘The Return’ (2019), ‘Crossing Borders’ (2017), and ‘The Universal Language’ (2015).  As a collection, the program presents a range of compositions spanning from Baroque to contemporary.  This series includes compositions from Scarlatti, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, and Oskar Morawetz.  Highlight pieces include Schumann Kinderszenen, Op. 15, Carnival Jest from Vienna (Faschingsschwank aus Wien), Op. 26, Schubert Sonata in A Minor, D. 784, Beethoven sonata in A-flat Major, Op. 26, Chopin Mazurkas, Op. 24, and more.

The Universal Language represents the debut album of pianist Luke Welch, which was released in 2015.  This album features a diverse program, including works by Robert Schumann, Frederic Chopin, Oskar Morawetz, and Franz Schubert:

This album by pianist Luke Welch, entitled The Return, represents his third professional release in addition to The Universal Language and Crossing Borders which features works by Ludwig van Beethoven – including his famous “Funeral March” Sonata in A-flat major Op. 26 and two Rondos Op. 51 – as well as Robert Schumann’s Faschingsschwank aus Wien (Carnival Jest from Vienna), Op. 26. Recorded in Cologne, Germany, this program sets the perfect balance of contrasts between classical and romantic repertoire and exemplifies the artistry and brilliance of these two great composers. The album officially released on Friday, February 15, 2019, and is available in digital format on CD Baby as well as compact disc edition.
