  On Friday, May 24, 2019, the Golden Prairie Arts Council in Manitoba, Canada will be hosting the provincial debut piano concert by Luke Welch at Carman United Church. The performance begins at 7:30 pm and continues the album release tour for The Return – released in February 2019. The album includes works by Beethoven, and Schumann and is available here for CD purchase, or click here for download.
  
  The concert includes Ludwig van Beethoven’s early Rondos Op. 51 as well as his iconic "Funeral March" Sonata in A-flat Major, Op. 26.  Chopin Nocturne Op. 48, No 2, as well as the composer’s fiery Scherzo No. 1 in B minor, will start the second half of the afternoon’s program, and Robert Schumann Carnival Jest from Vienna (Faschingsschwank aus Wien), Op. 26 will round out the evening's program.
