    Luke Welch will be making his fourth appearance at Trinity Anglican Church in Ottawa, Canada on Saturday, April 13, 2019.  This performance will include Beethoven Rondos Op. 51, Mozart Sonata in A minor K. 310, and Schumann Carnival Jest from Vienna (Faschingsschwank aus Wien), Op. 26.  This performance continues the international The Return: Beethoven and Schumann album tour which was released in 2019.

    Concerto with Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra

    In a highly anticipated - and long-awaited - performance Luke Welch will be teaming up with the newly minted Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in concert to perform Mendelssohn's Capriccio Brillante, Op. 22.  Composed in 1832, this one-movement concerto lives up to its title with a melodious introduction which leads into a brilliant and declamatory main theme and coda. 

    The Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra, conducted by Colin Clarke, was formed in 2018 and is considered to be the premiere youth orchestra in the western Greater Toronto Area.  This concert represents their inaugural season's finale performance.

    Luke Welch will be making his debut visit to the Canadian Prairies with a performance in Carman, Manitoba at Carman United Church on Friday, May 24, 2019.  This concert, being hosted by the Golden Prairie Arts Council, will feature a program of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, and Schumann.
