Luke Welch plays Ludwig van Beethoven Sonata No. 12 in A-flat Major, Op. 26. Aptly nicknamed the “Funeral March Sonata”, this piano sonata features a Theme-and-Variation first movement as well as the infamous Funeral March movement which also inspired Frederic Chopin’s own Sonata of the same title.
